Bypass modules
Chances are if your vehicle is newer than 1996, it may have some
type of factory anti-theft system. Many of these anti-theft systems
have a transponder in the head of the key, which the vehicle will not
start unless it reads the transponder in the ignition. Some systems
are built into the actual ignition switch. A bypass module will allow
us to "fool" the car into thinking a key is actually turning over the
ignition to start the vehicle. The bypass module only does this right
before the car is remote started, to allow the vehicle to start without
the key. Your vehicles anti-theft system will be fully functional at all
other times, just like the day you purchased it. If you have any
questions about the way bypass modules work, please contact us,
and we will be glad to help.
