Everyone loves their iPod. On a walk, at work, at home and working out. With iPod
integration, you can enjoy all of your media on the road too. Many people are not
aware of these great interfaces, and are not getting the most of their iPod. There are
some crucial benefits, that these interfaces will provide over many in-car iPod

SOUND QUALITY
Everyone has seen the wireless FM transmitters, that plug into your cigarette lighter , and play your iPod through a FM
radio station on your vehicles stereo. If you are an unfortunate owner of one of these, or similar products, Im sure you
are aware that the sound quality leaves much to desire. The signal can fade in and out, be strong in some areas, and
weaker in others. They basically take the music you love on your iPod, and make it sound like an old cassette tape.
With iPod integration interfaces, they communicate with your factory radio, and provide a DIGITAL signal. The files on
your iPod will be played on a dedicated input of the factory radio that will sound as close to CD quality as possible. Not
through a wireless FM frequency.
iPOD CONTROL
On most vehicles, with an iPod interface, you have dual options to control all of your music files. Searching and
selecting songs can always be done on the iPod itself, but can also be done through the factory stereo. Easily change
from track to track without taking your eyes off the road to find your iPod. If your vehicle is equipped with steering
wheel audio controls, that function will also control your iPod. With vehicles with more advanced factory stereos, you
will be able to browse through tracks, albums, genres, and artists. The artist and track name will also appear on
factory radios that are compatable. Check with our staff for compatability of this function on your vehicle.
iPOD CHARGING
Another very convenient feature of iPod interfaces, is that it will keep your iPod or iPhone charged. No need for a plug
in charger, its built right in. Some vehicles come from the factory with an aux input jack, which can be used for your
iPod. Not only will it not have the sound quality of an interface, aux input jacks can not control your ipod through the
factory radio, or charge the iPod.
MORE DETAILS
Not every factory radio will be compatible with an iPod interface, but we do have solutions for every vehicle, whether it
has a stock radio, or aftermarket. As mentioned above, certain vehicles will have more control of functions, due to the
advanced electronics of the factory radio. With all our iPod solutions, the appearance of your factory radio will not
change. All the vehicle wiring will not be changed. The interface itself is neatly hidden behind the dash, and a iPod/usb
cable is routed to your center console, so you can easily control your iPod and tuck it away, or the cable can be routed
into your glove box, if you prefer to plug the iPod in and put it away. We also offer mounting cradles that can house the
