| All of our Autopage remote starter systems, can be configured to have security features as well. What does a security system add to your vehicle? Basically, if any of the following occur, the system will trigger : Any door, hood, or the trunk is opened, and if the dual stage shock sensor is tripped. Dual stage means that if the vehicle is bumped lightly, it will send a warning chirp. If it is bumped hard, or the window is broken it will go into full alarm. While your system is armed, the starter is also interrupted. If anyone were to attempt to pop the ignition switch, the starter won't engage. There are also a couple popular additional sensors that can improve your protection. A tilt sensor is very popular for vehicles with custom wheels. It will sense if the vehicle is being towed, or jacked up and trigger the alarm. Another popular option is a motion sensor, especially for convertibles or custom vehicles. Depending on how sensitive you prefer the settings, a motion sensor can detect someone approaching your vehicle and chirp when they come too close (if you prefer) Otherwise it will trigger the alarm if anyone reaches inside the vehicle. We highly recommend a 2-way security system. That way, if your vehicle is tampered with, your transmitter will show you. Even if you cant physically see or hear your vehicle.
